You can put this solution on YOUR website! isolate the absolute value
-4(abs(5-7y)=-4
abs(5-7y)=1
so 5-7y=1, 7y=4, y=(4/7) one ANSWER
and 5-7y=-1
7y=6, y=(6/7) one ANSWER
-4*abs(5-4)-2 does = -6
and
-4*abs(5-(-6))-2 does = -6

Two TUTORS and one other person did this problem. The TUTORS did it CORRECTLY, as usual, but the other person, AS USUAL, decided to post a totally different/INCORRECT/NONSENSICAL answer!
Is this person really trying to CONFUSE students or does he really not know better?
It's TRULY RIDICULOUS that this person continues, day-in day-out to lead these people who ask for math solutions, astray. Is there a time that he'll STOP?
I really do hope so, especially for the sake of these people who depend on us to provide CORRECT answers!
 ------check to be sure both or one of these works.
Don't even bother to check because I'm telling you, they are WRONG/WRONG/WRONG, as USUAL!!!
