find the perimeter of a square in which the square of its diagonals is 200cmsquare
Let one of its diagonals be D
%282D%29%5E2+=+200
4D%5E2+=+200
D%5E2+=+50
Then: D%5E2+=+S%5E2+%2B+S%5E2
50+=+2S%5E2 ------- Substituting 50 for D%5E2
25+=+S%5E2
S, or one side of square = 5 cm
Perimeter: 4(5), or highlight_green%28matrix%281%2C2%2C+20%2C+cm%29%29

.
find the perimeter of a square in which the square of its diagonals is 200 cm squared.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You are given that D%5E2 = 200.
Hence, D = 10%2Asqrt%282%29.
As everybody knows, the diagonal of a square is D = a%2Asqrt%282%29, where a is the square side.
Hence, a = 10 in our case.
Then the perimeter of the square is 4*10 = 40 cm.
Answer.  The perimeter of the square is 40 cm.
