Question 1034936: The flag of Scottland is divided into four triangles by a white cross. It is the cross of St. Andrew. What is the measure of the angle labeled (2x+9)?
Top of flag is (2x+9)
Bottom of flag is (4x+3)
_________degrees? Answer by fractalier(6550) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! I am guessing that the top and bottom angles are equivalent, vertical angles, so that
2x + 9 = 4x - 3
2x = 12
x = 6
and then
2x + 9 = 21 degrees
