Question 1032566: a tree needs to be staked down prior to a storm. if the ropes can be tied on the tree trunk 10 feet above the ground and the staked rope should make a 30 degrees angle with the ground, what is the total amount of rope (feet) that extends to the four stakes supporting?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Using the solution from the last one...the length of rope is the hypotenuse...as before the sides are 1-2-sqrt(3)...this time you are interested in the 2-side, thus each rope is 10*2 = 20 feet long...
Four of them would use a total of 80 feet of rope...
