Question 1024779: A building in the shape of a regular octagon with sides of length 10 feet is in the middle of a grassy field. A goat on a 12 foot chain is chained to vertex G. How much grass (in square feet) does the goat have to eat? Answer by FrankM(1040) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Exterior angle of octagon is 360/8 = 45 degrees.
Therefore interior angle is 180-45 = 135. It would be a simple 225/360 of a circle with radius 12, until you see the chain is longer than one side.
