Question 1024779: A building in the shape of a regular octagon with sides of length 10 feet is in the middle of a grassy field. A goat on a 12 foot chain is chained to vertex G. How much grass (in square feet) does the goat have to eat?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Exterior angle of octagon is 360/8 = 45 degrees.
Therefore interior angle is 180-45 = 135. It would be a simple 225/360 of a circle with radius 12, until you see the chain is longer than one side.
