Question 908863: what is a 7/8/2 trade discount series
Answer by JulietG(1812)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It's the discount given to a preferred customer.
Let's say that you have a piece of equipment that costs $100,000
With a 7/8/2 trade discount series, the invoice price would be:
100,000 x (100-7%) x (100-8%) x (100-2%)
100,000 x 93% x 92% x 98% = $83,848.80
Nice discount, right?
