P=2l%2B2w
Plug in for l and w:
24=2%282w-3%29%2B2w
Distribute:
24=4w-6%2B2w
Combine like terms:
24=6w-6
Add 6 to both sides:
30=6w
Divide both sides by 6:
5=w
Now find l:
l=2w-3
l=2%285%29-3
l=7
