If John is 5 years older than Leah, who is 6 years older than Sue, then John is 11 years older than Sue. Using Sue as our basis, we get:
John+Leah+Sue =41
Sue+11+Sue+6+Sue =41
3Sue =24
Sue = 8
Leah = 14
John = 19.
