You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let A be the number of adult tickets, C the number of children's tickets.
1.A%2BC=500
2.7.5A%2B14C=34000
Multiply eq. 1 by (-14) and add to eq. 2 to eliminate C and solve for A.
-14A-14C%2B7.5A%2B14C=-7000%2B34000
-6.5A=-27000
Something is wrong with your problem setup.
The solution for A does not come out to be an integer which it needs to be.
I also changed the problem around and made the adult tickets $14 and the children's tickets $7.50 with similar issues.
Please re-check the problem and re-post.
