You can put this solution on YOUR website!
nickels=d+22=36
dimes=d=14
--------------
d+22+d=50
2d+22=50
subtract 22 form both sides
2d=28
divide both sides by 2
d=14

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let dimes=x.
Let nickles = x+22.

So, 50 = x + x + 22 = 2x + 22
28=2x
14=x
So, you have 14 + 22 or 36 nickels.
