Trays of flower sold per month- 20
pots of flower sold per month-25
EACH TRAY COSTS 2 DOLLARS MORE THAN A POT

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"EACH TRAY COSTS 2 DOLLARS MORE THAN A POT" means, I assume, that he charges $2 more for a tray.
Let the cost of a pot=p
25p+20(p+2)=1000
25p+20p+40=1000
45p=960
p=$21 1/3
tray should be sold for $23 1/3
If you use .33 instead of 1/3 you will have $999.85 which is less than $1000.
If you use .34 you will have $1000.30
.
