You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Tom's income: x
Rachel's income: 2x-6000
Total: x+(2x-6000)=30000
3x-6000=30000
3x=36000
x=12000
Tom earns $12000 while Rachel earns $24000-$6000=$18000
