the median is in the middle.
there as many higher priced meals than the median as there are lesser priced meals.
if the price of the meal was less than them median then it could not be the top priced meal.
to find the median, you order the price of them meals from lowest to highest.
then you find which price is in the middle.
if there are 5 meals, then the price in the middle will be unique.
if there are 6 meals, then the price in the middle will be the average of the 3 and 4th meal from the bottom.
