work so far--> 2n+8+n-12=108
3n+8-12=108 added the n's
3n+8=120 added 12
3n=112 subtracted 8
when I divided 112/3 I get an irrational number and dont know what to do after

Question 419059: Hi just need some help to make sure I am doing this problem correctly.
Using the Euler's formula to answer this question, a polyhedron has 16 vertices and 17 faces. How many edges does it have.
I was thinking 33 because the Eulers formula is vertices = edges- faces +2
so would I go 16 - 29 + 17 = 4 29 + 4 = 33
Did I do this correct? :o)
