QUESTION: what is "3 times the tens digit of a number" in algebraic expression?
THANKS! Answer by Edwin McCravy(20054) (Show Source):
'The tens digit' is denoted by 't' and 'the units digit' is
denoted by 'u'.
'The number' or 'a number' is denoted by 10t + u
Therefore
'3 times the tens digit of a number' is denoted by '3t'.
