You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x(5) + (x+5)(20) = 775

5x + 20x + 100 = 775

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x the number of five dollar bills
x+5 the number of twenties.
total value:
5x+20(x+5)=775
5x+20x+100=775
25x+100=775
25x=775-100
25x=675
25x/25=675/25
x=27
and the number satisfies the problem:
27%2A5%2B32%2A20=135%2B640=775

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
$5.00 --------------x
$20.00 --------------( x+5)

Value $ 775
,,,,
5x+20(x+5)=775
5x+20x+100=775
25x+100 =775
25x=775 -100
25x=675
/25
x=27 $5.00
32 $20.00
135+640=775
