You can put this solution on YOUR website!
how to use patterns or a linear equation to complete this table, would you be able to help me out and show me what I am doing wrong.
X , Y
1 , 1
3 , 7
5 , 13
10 , ?
50 , ?
100 , ?
-------
If the relation is linear you only need 2 points
to find the equation:
----
Using (1,1) and (3,7)
slope = (7-1)/(3-1) = 6/2 = 3
----
Equation Form:
y = mx + b
1 = 3*1 + b
b = -2
-------
Equation:
f(x) = 3x-2
---
Use that equation to determine all the "?'s".

Stan H.
