pint cartons = X
Quart cartons = 6x
x+6x=78
7x = 78 and i got lost... Could you please help me with a step-by-step algorithm? Thank you

x + 6*(2x) = 78,
which implies
13x = 78,
and from this point you can complete the solution on your own.
