Question 1046281: Actually this is not a word problem but i badly need your help. This is about PHYSICS and the question is :
Derive the following equation in density or archimedes principle
1. Ps= Wa-Pw / Wa-Ww
where the Pw is the density of water equal to 1 g/cc
Ps is the density of irregularly shaped solid
Ww and Wa is the weight
2. Pl= Wa-Wl / gV
whete the g is the gravity equal to 9.8
Wl and Wa mass of liquid
V is the volume
IF this problem will be confusing , i will not hesitate to send the actual photo of this problem. I hope you can help me. Answer by ikleyn(52777) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! .

The formula "1" as it is written in the post, is incorrect.
The correct writing is
Density of object = ,
where is density of fluid,
is weight,
is apparent immersed weight.
