Question 730714: If I double my age and subtract 4, I get the same answer as if I add 48 to my age. What is my age?
I have tried doing 48+4=52
Then 52 divided by 2=26
But 26+48=74

The equation that I came up with is x+(x+16)=150.But I cant explain it.I believe it would go like this 41+(x+16)=150. I think the next step would be finding the x in the parenthesis. 41+(41+16)=150.
