You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let +n+ = number of years from now when
Raymond will be one half his dad's age
+16+%2B+n+=+%281%2F2%29%2A%28+37+%2B+n+%29+
Multiply both sides by +2+
+32+%2B+2n+=+37+%2B+n+
+n+=+37+-+32+
+n+=+5+
-----------
In 5 years Raymond will be 1/2 his dad's age
check:
+16+%2B+n+=+%281%2F2%29%2A%28+37+%2B+n+%29+
+16+%2B+5+=+%281%2F2%29%2A%28+37+%2B+5+%29+
+21+=+%281%2F2%29%2A42+
+21+=+21+
OK

Jeremy is 37years old and his son is 16. In how many years will Raymond be one half his dad's age?
===============
Depends on who Raymond is.
If Raymond is the son:
----
The age difference will remain 21 years.
--> when they're 21 & 42.
