Let x and y represent  Mom's and Son's ages   

Question States***

x + 5 = 3(y+5), x = 3y%2B10

(x+14) + (y+14)=62

  x + y = 34           |Substitute 3y%2B10for x

 (3y+10) + y = 34

    4y = 24

     y = 6, age of son.  Mom is 28  34-6
