Question 695508: This problem has been bugging me for ages. I'm having trouble proving this WITHOUT proving by example. Cover all cases.
A worker is paid every other week on Friday. Prove that in some month the worker is paid three times. Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! we know that there are 365/7 = 52 weeks in a year, which is 52/2 = 26 pay days in 1 year. There are 12 months, so 10 months must have 2 pay days and 2 months have 3 pay days, for a total of 26
Isn't that proof?
