You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Tim's age x
Coach age x + 10
3 years before
Tim's age x -3
Coach age x+10-3=x+7
Coach is 2 times older
x+7=2(x -3)
x+7=2x-6
2x-x=7+6
x=13 Tim's age
x+10=23 years Coach's age

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let t = Tim's age now
Let c = Coach's age now
-----------------------
given:
(1) +c+-+3+=+2%2A%28t+-+3%29+
(2) +c+=+t+%2B+10+
----------------
Substitute (2) into (1)
(1) +t+%2B+10+-+3+=+2%2A%28t+-+3%29+
(1) +t+%2B+7+=+2t+-+6+
(1) +t+=+13+
Tim is 13 now
check:
(1) +c+-+3+=+2%2A%28t+-+3%29+
+c+-+3+=+2%2A%2813+-+3%29+
+c+=+20+%2B+3+
+c+=+23+
This is 10 years older than Tim is now
