Let x and (160 + x) represent maria's and bobby's weights  respectively

Question states***

 x  + (160 + x) = 200lb

Solving for x

 2x + 160 = 200lb

       2x = 40lb

        x = 20lb, Maria's weight.  Bobby weighs  180lb.   (160 + 20)
