Let x be father's age in 2 years. (x-20) will the be Patrick's in two years
.
The Question states the following wil be true in 2 years
x+=+2%28x-20%29
.
simplify and solve for x
x+=+2x-40%29
x+%2B40+=+2x
40+=+x father's age in 2 years is 40
.
father is now 38 and his son Patrick is 18
