You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Ram is 10 years older than his wife, 33 years older than his son, and 35 years older than his daughter. Ram and his wife had been married for 3 years before their son was born. If their (Ram's and his wife's) combined ages add up to 134, how old was Ram's wife was when they got married?

>>...Ram is 10 years older than his wife...<<

So r+=+w+%2B+10

>>...their (Ram's and his wife's) combined ages add up to 134...<<

r+%2B+w+=+134

So we have the system:

system%28r=w%2B10%2Cr%2Bw=134%29

Solve that system and we get that r = 72 and w = 62.

Now we can go from there with basic math:

>>...Ram is...33 years older than his son...<<

That makes his son's age 72-33= 39

>>...ram and his wife had been married for 3 years before their son was born...<<

So 39 years ago their son was born, and Ram's wife
was 62-39 or 23.

So 3 years before that was when they got married,
so she was 20 then.

(The daughter was not even involved in the problem,
but it's easy to figure that she is 37.)
