You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Remember the following:
x=tickets
Number of tickets sold:
Jill=J=5x, five times as Ashley
Ashley=A=x, # of tickets Ashley sold
Maria=M=x%2B4, maria sold 4 more than Ashley
Therefore:
J%2BA%2BM=67 -----------> eqn 1
5x%2Bx%2Bx%2B4=67
7x=67-4=63 ---------> cross%287%29x%2Fcross%287%29=cross%2863%299%2Fcross%287%29
x=9 ----------------> # of tickets sold by Ashley
5x=5%2A9=45 ----------> # of tickets sold by Jill
x%2B4=9%2B4=13 ---------> # of tickets sold by Maria
In doubt? Go back eqn 1:
45%2B9%2B13=67
67=67
Thank you,
Jojo
