Ashton is x years old.
Bentley is 2 years older than Ashton.
Bentley's age = (x+2) years
Three times Bentley’s age is equal to 18.
3*(x+2) =18
3x+6 =18
3x+6-6= 18-6
3x = 12
3x/3 = 12/3
x=4
Ashton's age is 4 years
Bentley's age = x+2
= 4+2 = 6 years
