Raymond is 6 years older than his sister. Four years from now, Raymond will be twice as old as his sister.
Find their present ages.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In 4 years from now, Raymond will be 6 years older than his sister, and, AT THE SAME TIME,
will be twice as old as she.
Then it becomes clear that in 6 years Raymond is 12 years old, while the sister is 6 years old.
So, now their current ages are 12-4 = 8 years (Raymond) and 6-4 = 2 years (the sister).     ANSWER
Solved (mentally, without using equations).
