Robert is thrice as old Reggie.  Reggie is 4 years older than Jane 'x". 
If the sum of their ages is 41, How old is Jane?
 Jane + Reggie + Robert = 41
 x + (x+ 4) + 3(x+4) = 41
    5x +16 = 41
       5x = 25
        x = 5 , Jane's Age
