Question 1169493: I'm having trouble with this age question:
My age increased by my daughter's age is 48 years. In 15 years, her age increased by four times mine will equal 234 years. How old are we now?
The equations I have are:
let "x" be my age today
let "y" be my daughter's age today
x+y=48
(y+15) + (4x+15)=234
I just can't seem to get it. Answer by ikleyn(52786) (Show Source):
