I just answered this post this night.

The answer is:  the daughter is  2  years;  the mother is  8  years.

Since this answer  (and the problem itself,  in whole)  is absurdist,  I said that this problem is  "idiotic".

If I see this post again at the forum,  I will delete it without further explanation.
