woman now is 2x
6 years ago woman was 2x-6 and daughter was x-6, which is 1/3 as much.
so 3(x-6)=2x-6
3x-18=2x-6
x=12 for daughter and 24 for the woman now
6 years ago, it was 6 and 18 years.
12 years old.

These 2 females would be more like sisters. It does happen that a GIRL can have a child at 12 years-old, but I don't believe these types of math problems
should reflect that type of behavior. Whomever writes these, why don't they ask someone else to, or after getting the answer, change the wording!
