You can put this solution on YOUR website!
system%28y=3x%2Cy%2B6=2%28x%2B6%29%29

y=-6%2B2%28y%2F3%2B6%29
3y=-18%2B2%28y%2B18%29
3y=2y%2B36-18
y=18

In six years, Ralph will be 24.
y+6=24

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

x=age of Sara
3x=age of Ralph
after 6 years:
x%2B6=age of Sara
3x%2B6=age of Ralph, where he will be twice as old as Sara
so that:
3x%2B6=2%28x%2B6%29
3x%2B6=2x%2B12
3x-2x=12-6
x=6
Therefore:
x=6 => age of Sara
3x=3%286%29=18 => age of Ralph
