You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Their present ages may be x and 2x.

Five years ago, for 1:3,
%28x-5%29%2F%282x-5%29=1%2F3
-
3x-15=2x-5
highlight%28x=10%29-----the younger brother now.

Ratio of ages in 5 more years
%2810%2B5%29%2F%2820%2B5%29=15%2F25=highlight%283%2F5%29

*************WRONG BELOW*****************
Their PRESENT ages are 2 and 4.
--
In five more years, ratio:
cross%28%282%2B5%29%2F%284%2B5%29=7%2F9%29

.
%28x-5%29%2F%282x-5%29 = 1%2F3

3*(x-5) = 2x - 5

3x - 15 = 2x - 5

x = 10.

Answer. Their present ages are 10 years and 20 years.

Be aware:   the solution by @josgarithmetic and his answer  (2 and 4 years) are obviously   W R O N G
