Q :In 10 years,the sum of their ages will be 47.How old are they now?
______________________________________________
In 10 years,
Anthony's age = x+10
Mary's age = 3+ (2x)+10
=13+2x
Their ages will be 47
(x+10)+(13+2x)=47
3x=47-10-13
3x=24
x=8
Therefore,
Mark's age =3+2x=3+2*8= 19 years old
and
Anthony's age = 8 years old
