You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.
J - R = 5  now.   ("jamee is 5 years older than rachell")

In 15 years, Jamee will be (J+15) years old, while Rachel will be (R+15).

So, you have these two equations

J - R = 5,                (1)
(J+15) + (R+15) = 45.     (2)

Simplify eq(2). You will have

J - R =  5,               (1')
J + R = 15.               (2')

Add equations (1') and (2') (both sides). You will get

2J = 5 + 15 = 20  ====>  j = 20%2F2 = 10.

Thus Jamee is 10 years now.

Then Rachel is 10-5 = 5 years old.

Solved.
