You can put this solution on YOUR website!
T= K+5
T+6+K+6 = 79 Substitute:
K+5+6+K+6= 79
2K+17= 79
2K = 62
K = 31 and
T = 31+5 = 36
In 6 years:
(31+6)+(36+6)= 79
37+42 = 79 We have the correct answer.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let +t+ = Tom's age now
Let +k+ = Kori's age now
-------------------------
(1) +t+=+k+%2B+5+
(2) +t+%2B+6+%2B+k+%2B+6+=+79+
------------------------
(2) +t+%2B+k+=+67+
and
(1) +t+-+k+=+5+
------------------
Add the equations
+2t+=+72+
+t+=+36+
and
(1) +t+=+k+%2B+5+
(1) +36+=+k+%2B+5+
(1) +k+=+31+
Tom is 36 now
----------------
check:
(1) +t+=+k+%2B+5+
(1) +36+=+31+%2B+5+
(1) +36+=+36+
-----------------
(2) +t+%2B+k+=+67+
(2) +36+%2B+31+=+67+
(2) +67+=+67+
OK
