bob is 12 years less than triple als age
B = 3A - 12
if bobs and als age sum to 104 years.
B + A = 104
Replace B with 3A - 12 from top equation.
3A - 12 + A = 104
Collect like terms:
3A + A = 104 + 12
4A = 116
A = 29
Al's age = 29 yrs old
Bob's age = 75 yrs old
