Question 1167229: Show that the usual subtraction (if possible) on integers induces a binary operation on non negative integers. Answer by ikleyn(52784) (Show Source):
It is invalid because when the result of subtraction is negative, it lies outside of the domain of non-negative numbers.
It contradicts to the definition of a system with binary operations.
According to the definition of such systems, the operation should be determined over all pairs of elements with
the final value in the same set as a domain.
