Question 390398: Help me please? a park ranger measures parts of a trail. From the Nature Center, it is 2.25 miles to the waterfall. From the waterfall to Big Rock is 1 1/2 miles,and from Big Rock back to the Natre Center is 0.8 mile. What is the total length of the trail?

Question 398139: I am not sure if I am understanding how to do this problem?:
5 - 2^4 divided by 16 x 3 - 4 =
I know 2^4 is 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 = 16 =
so wouldn't 5 - 16 = -11
The rest I am not sure how to figure out.
