Question 186706: This is the last question for an assignment. My mind is mush at this time, can someone please help? It is a three part question. The instructor wants us to write three (3) quadratic equations with a,b,and c (coefficients of x^2, x, and the constant) as: 1: Integers, 2: Rational numbers, and 3: Irrational numbers. I need this by 3 a.m. central time. Please help! This is for Intermediate Algebra and does not come from a book that I know of.

Question 187695: Hi i'm trying to work out on the practice Test on my txtbook & i'm not sure with my answer can you please help me...
48)Denominators are additive inverses.Add pr subtract as indicated.Simplify the result if possible.
(y-7)/(y^2-16) + (7-y)/(16-y^2)
I did the cross multiplication
(16y-y^3-112+7y^2) / (7y^2-y3-112+16y)
(-y^3 +7y^2 +16y-112)/(-y^3 +7y^2 +16y-112)
what will be the answer is it 1 or 0?
Did I do the right thing? or there is another solution?
Looking forward for your reply.
Thanks
