They are both the quotient of two integers, so they are rational. Since they are rational they are real, and therefore they are also complex albeit with a zero imaginary part coefficient. But reduced to lowest terms, both of them are the same positive integer. So one could make the case that not only are they integers, but they are positive integers, whole numbers, and natural numbers. In fact, the only set from which they are excluded is the irrationals.
