Hello, in regards to your question of being (2+square root7)squared -
what you start off doing is square everything inside the paranthesis.
(2 + [7^1/2])^2)
Leaving you with the end result of 2 squared plus the square root of 7 squared....or 4 + 7. - then just add and your answer becomes 11.
