Question 315895: how can you show that each number is a rational number?
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Each number is NOT a rational number.
Rational numbers can be written in the form a/b
where a and b are integers and b is not zero.
--------------------
Lots of numbers cannot be written in that form.
A bunch of them are called irrational numbers.
Examples are: sqrt(2), sqrt(3), pi, e, sqrt(any number that is not a perfect square) .....
