This statement is true for all real numbers.
This is the associative property of addition.
It is a basic property of arithmetic, can't be proven.
It's kind of the rules to the game we agree to when we do math.
Just like 5*0=0.
Why?
Because we say so, we say that anything times zero equals zero.
