Question 1137990: A department store sells shirts for 12.50 each. Dalila buys 3, Latisha buys 3 and Pilar buys 1. Can someone help me illustrate the distributive property by writing two expressions to represent the cost of these shirts?. In addition, can someone help me use the same property to find how much money the store received from selling the shirts? thanks in advance.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
12.50(3+3+1)=$12.50(7)=$87.50
or 3(12.50)+3(12.50)+1(12.50) which is 7(12.50)
or 37.50+37.50+12.50=87.50
