P=7t^2+8000. 8000 represents the population (p0), t is the time meaning years. t=o (2010), t=1 (2011), t=2 (2012), t=3 (2013), and t=6 (2016). The time (year) is already solved for me but I dont know how to figure out the solving of the population for the years that I have shown nor graph it all onto an graph. Can you please help me.

I solved it and got -4 + or - i SQRT 16 over 8
My question is can this be reduced because there is a -4? So, I am wondering if this would be -2 + or - i SQRT 16 over 4.

Get 0 on one side: 3/8x^2 + x - 1/8 = 0
Divide both sides by 8 and then you get: 3x^2+8x-1 =0
Then I make the coefficient of x^2 equal to 1, I divide both sides by 3, term by term.
Then I get x^2 + 8/3 - 1/3 = 0
This is where I get confused. I need help completing the square now. I know I square 1/2(8/3)^2 and that gives me a square and I add 16/9 to both sides.
