You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let the Width of the Rectange = W
Then length = 2W+2 since length of a rectangle is 2 inches more than twice its width
Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(Length +Width)
But this is given to be 34
So 2(Length +Width) = 34
or
2(2W+2 +W) = 34
Dividing on both sides with 2
3W+2 = 17
Subtracting 2 on both sides
3W = 15
Dividing on both sides with 3
W = 5
Which means Length = 12
